A Beautiful Mummy

I started 'A Beautiful Mummy' after having my fourth child and realising that with 3 other children I certainly wasnt going to get away with hiding at home and breastfeeding !

I set about trying to find fashionable, but comfortable clothes to enable me to breastfeed discreetly no matter where I was, as I knew trying to fit breastfeeding in with the endless school runs and afterschool activites was going to be a challenge. I did manage to find some excellent clothes and some fabulous websites but the majority of them came from overseas. The final straw came when I ordered two breastfeeding tops and they got stuck in UK customs for 6 weeks !! - at which point I joked with my husband that 'I could do this and make breastfeeding clothes readily available to mums like me' and here I am !!

With the support of my lovely husband I set up an office at home and started importing specially designed breastfeeding clothes from all over the world, A Beautiful Mummy was created and I've never looked back.

During the course of 2011 we won 3 awards in total. We won Insight Magazines 'Mummy Must have' award, Aspire Magazines 'Exquisite Maternity Wear 2011' award and I won Insight Magazines 'Business Woman of the Year 2011' award which is fantastic. I am sure with the hardworking team I have there will be more awards to come in the future.

Our collections are ever growing and we have now expanded into maternity wear and gifts. For the first time this year (2011) we have also launched a couture collection which I am very excited about so watch this space !

We have customers all over the world and A Beautiful Mummy is going from strength to strength so it just goes to show, as Walt Disney once said 'Nothing is impossible - if you believe'
